Heydar Aliyev - Zaha Hadid
The design of this building is very modern and the curves create a smooth finish. The full glass front lets the interior take advantage of the natural sunlight reducing the running cost of the building due to not needing to artificial lighting. The building is also elegant due to the bright white exterior that seamlessly sweeps into the floor. The Heydar Aliyev's function is an auditorium, museum and gallery. As it is made out of reinforced concrete the durability is very high therefore many future generations can enjoy this facility. This buliding can improve people's lives due attracting tourists throughout the globe as it is a world renowned structure, therefore improving the economy in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Alder Hay Children's Hospital - Laing O'Rourke
Alder Hay is a NHS children's hospital in Liverpool that was constructed in 2015. The design of this building is sleek and modern on both the exterior and interior. It integrates many sustainable features for example the sedum roof. The curves and wooden structure also enable the hospital to fit in with its surroundings.
One of the main problems it solves for the community is unemployment due to providing 600 jobs and another being a communal hospital helping those with illness.

Naga Towers -
This building is an office block in India that is 54 floors high.
I like the design as it is a modern glass structure and the shape fits in with the environment of the modern city, yet it stands out due to its unique and cultural shape, a snake.
As it is is constructed of glass and steel the structure is stable and has a sustainable element as it uses natural sunlight.
